Cut in 2 1/4 cups quality shortening, until it resembles baking mix. Store in a cool dry place or freezer.
I just use it like regular bisquick. Tonight I made chicken, dumplings, and strawberry shortcake using recipes from the bisquick box.
For dumplings, use 2 1/2 cups mix and 2/3 cup milk. Mix and drop by spoonfuls into your favorite chicken soup. Boil for 10 minutes uncovered, and then cover and boil another 10 minutes.
