What You Are Saying About  Domata Living Flour?

November 24, 2008
Thank you for posting the Molasses Crinkles cookie recipe. When I ate one at one of your demo set-up it was wonderful. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow. Thank you ... my husband just loves the sweet rolls. You are wonderful to share this information with us. Juanita Greener

I need to tell you I made an apple cobbler that was amazing! I nervously just used my regular recipe like you said and it worked! Thanks so much for all your help, Lonnie Foster

My nine year old daughter was just diagnosed with Celiac. We had heard all of the "horror" stories about breads, but we are grateful to report that we have not had to experience any of those. Your flour and pizza mix was the first product we tried, and all of our family (and our long-term Celiac friend) are delighted to eat anything made with your flour. Thank you. Lonnie Foster

I LOVE this flour. I have been living and eating GF for 15 years and have NEVER had a flour that tastes and bakes sooooo good. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (& tummy) for developing Domata. You have been such a blessing to our lives. God Bless you! Laurie Hammer

Thank you. Couldn't wait. Baked it (pizza) on a stone at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. WOW, it was great! My non Celiac husband loved it too. And believe me, he doesn't like too much GF items. Now I am baking cinnamon rolls. You have created a cooking monster. Theresa Brandon Chair Cedar Rapids Celiac's Connect (GIG)

We are so pleased with the Domata Flour! Since discovering my husband's sensitivity to gluten, I have tried many different products, but your flour is the best! I have been able to make delicious biscuits and tasty buttermilk loaf bread for him for the first time in almost a year, with no difficulty. He is delighted, and so am I. It is such a blessing to be able to offer him the foods that he has missed without fear of him being exposed to gluten. Thank you so much! We will be your loyal customers from now on! Kathy P.

Hi Ed,
Thank you for your help with the pizza crust. It came out really good. The last pizza crust I made nobody would eat. It is very hard to find good food that is GLUTEN FREE. I have been told by different people this is good or this is good. Sometimes it is and sometimes it  is not. We have thrown food away because it is not good to us. We really like your flour. I have your all-purpose and seasoned. Have not used seasoned yet. Thanks again. Bobbi

Hello Iris,
We are going through the 25 lb bags like crazy. How much for the 250 lb bag. We will be needing it real soon.
Thanks for your help. Mary (Owner of G.F. Cucina’s, Sterling Hgts., MI 586-276-1200

Are there any stores in Chicago that carry your flour? I had my mother bring a bag of it to me when she visited me from Ames, Iowa, and I loved it! I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy in March and am unwilling to give up my love for baking. Your flour worked so well in so many of my recipes that I'll be ordering more, but if it were available in Chicago, that would be even better. I've asked my local grocer to carry it (Treasure Island 1526 E. 55th Street Chicago, IL 60615) but they have been unresponsive. Maybe you could persuade them? So many of us in my neighborhood would be thrilled to have your flour available! Thank you Sarah

Well Sarah, it is true that the squeaky wheel does get the grease. We forwarded your email and wrote a letter to the corporate offices of TI and they gave us a call yesterday and want to place an order for Domata flour, the pizza mix and the seasoned flour. So please tell your friends that we will be on their local grocery stores shelves within a month and to start asking for the product. Your short note to us did more than anything we ever could have done. August 8, 2008
Dear Iris,
Thank you for this wonderful news!  I have also written to Treasure Island, as you suggested, and the buyer in charge of Gluten Free foods and I are now in personal contact.  She seemed very excited about Domata and she has asked me to inform her of other quality GF products that she might not yet know about. I love to cook, so I have been scouring all available sources for high-quality, affordable, alternatives to wheat products ever since I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy in March. The diagnosis has been such a blessing! No more chronic migraines (I was being hospitalized for them, with the last one requiring a cat scan and spinal tap to see that nothing worse was going on) and so much more energy and will to live! So thank you for a wonderful product and thank you for helping me to make it available to people like me here in Chicago. It's amazing how helpful people are when they are willing to look beyond business considerations and become aware of the realities of people's lives.
Thank you again for your help! I look forward to seeing Domata in my neighborhood store soon. In the meantime, I received 10 lbs of flour today, so I am set until it arrives on the shelves of TI.    Blessings, Sarah

About a month ago I went to your gluten free cooking class at the Hy-Vee in Norfolk, NE with my girlfriend who has Celiac’s. Last night we decided to make a pizza using your flour and I can't tell you how easy it was following the directions on the side of the bag.  I am fortunate enough to be able to eat whatever I want and to my surprise it was one of the best crusts that I have ever created in my kitchen period. I recently ordered a 5 pound bag of your pizza crust and I am assuming to get a similar result with less work of course. One of the biggest problems that my girlfriend and I have is that we cannot go out for dinner without driving 2 hours to Omaha. Because of the amazing results that we got using your flour I intend on providing gluten free pizza's in my bar along with some gluten free beer options.  This may not be a huge money maker for me but I am doing it because I love my girlfriend and really think that people with celiac’s and their loved ones should have an option everywhere including small towns.  This could not be done without your amazing product.  Thank you! Hi Jack.  I made a pizza tonight and followed your instructions.  I baked it directly on the oven rack and it worked well.  The crust was crisp and thin which was great.  I think it tasted about the same as the last ones you gave me.  I think you said they were made by different people.  I also made a different recipe of bread, which was also excellent.  By the way, I'm not sure if I told you I've been using it to make grilled cheese sandwiches and french toast.  Both came out great, a very far cry from any of the commercial breads I've tasted.  Anyway, I'll mention your product again to Jenine and to Josh at Return to Eden when I see him.  I really hope that you'll get a foothold in the Atlanta market.  There are people out there who really need you products. And please keep me posted about the pizza chains.  Thanks again,  Maury

Also, I'm going to give this e-mail address to the woman out of state who bakes the gluten free desserts.  I figure you'll be able to give her information appropriate for what she is doing.
