DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt 1-cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in 2/3 cup cocoa, 1-cup flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/2 tsp. baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Use a toothpick or knife to check for doneness. Do not over bake.
