Who said Celiac's can't eat Brownies?  Where's the milk?

As Good As It Gets - Brownies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter (1 cup of butter flavored shortening will make this dairy free)
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Domata Living Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt 1-cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in 2/3 cup cocoa, 1-cup flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/2 tsp. baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Use a toothpick or knife to check for doneness. Do not over bake.
